Thread: Converting TIFF files to JPG sometimes loses the "Date/Time Original" from EXIF data

Default Converting TIFF files to JPG sometimes loses the "Date/Time Original" from EXIF data

This happens when batch converting some TIFF files to JPG (note that this ALSO happens in the same files with Elements Organizer, so could be a code library problem?)
The GPS information is also missing after conversion.

The original file is fairly around 80 Mb - this may be part of the cause????

Note - It also happens when converting the single file

    Batch log

Save of Exif data for JPG is supported, but not for TIF, so this is not a bug.

Can you please confirm that writing to a JPG with EXIF data is supported when converting from a TIFF file? It seems that you're saying writing to a TIFF file with EXIF is not supported.

No saving Exif data from TIF files is not supported.

Exif data in JPG files is saved if that option is enabled in the JPG save dialogue.
