Batch resize resample function

Does anyone know what is the default resample function used at batch resize? It seems it cannot be specified like for single resize... yet I would like to get the best quality possible when using batch.

Whatever Resample method is specified in the manual Resize/Resample dialogue (Ctrl R)

Note that there is a fast resample option for image shrinking, because the slowest Lancozos3 method is better for enlarging, but makes little difference for shrinking.
