no bug IrfanView 4.50 32/64-bit can't open a TIFF file from paint.net: decode error

.tif files saved using paint.net (current version is 4.21) will not open in IrfanView. I get "Decode error!" and "Invalid or unsupported TIF file" in a popup window. Other image viewers/editors that I use all open these files without complaint. I do not know if this operation previously worked, as I've only just started using paint.net to save in TIFF format. I haven't had any problems opening JPEG files from paint.net.
I'm providing a sample. Thanks for looking into this!

My Serif Apps also don't like the file, but FastStone Image Viewer and LibreOffice can open it OK.

I have set a bug report to Irfan Skiljan.

      The LibTIF reader says:

      error: Incorrect count for "SampleFormat"

and this TIF is probably saved using the old = proprietary JPG compression => forget it!
      This compression should die.
So, not a bug. Other image viewers overlook the bad format.
