I have a computer on my local network with a shared folder that contains images:
\\computer1\images
If I go to computer2, right-click on that folder, and select "browse with Irfanview", I get this error:
unknown file format, empty/damaged file or file not found
and it is unable to open the folder, or even see the computer at all. However, if I map that folder as a drive it can see it.
Why can irfanview not open the folder as a UNC path?
Is there some way to fix this other than mapping the folder as a drive?
I'm using Irfanview 4.51 x64.
Thanks!
