Associated File

I want one file association not all image file a association with IrfanView. Only what DDS file Associated. Run as admin I did.

After running as Admin, go to Properties, Extensions.

Clear All, Check DDS, then OK to save the settings.

It seemed to work for me. I don't have DDS files, but I did it for GIF, and this is what I got.



GIF images open in IrfanView, all other images open in other apps.

Make sure that you run IrfanView as Administrator.



If that still does not work, try doing it from Windows Settings, Default Apps.
