Default Saving a color image comes out as grayscale

I open images that are .JP2 format but save it as .JPG. When I open this .JPG file, it is grayscale. However if I save a color file in .PNG format, then the result is also color.

I must have set something wrong somewhere. BTW, This happens also in batch mode. Colour images converted from .JP2 to .JPG are also B/W.

Did you enable the "Save as grayscale (please remember)" checkbox?

Yes, I remember looking at the Show Options dialogue because I never used it. Everything is OK now. Also realized that if I delete i_view32.ini file, I can reconfigure it. But I am not sure if all the Configurations are there. Thanks, Bhikkhu Pesala. P.S. Straightened out my login problem.
