I have a 160 page .pdf document, and would like to convert and separate every page as a .jpg. Is there a way to do this?

Yes there is.
- Set the PDF plugin options first to the desired dpi
- Open the PDF
- From the Options menu, Multipage Images, Extract all pages
It might be faster using PDF-XChange Editor, but it works with IrfanView. Use the 64-bit version for greater speed; the 32-bit version seemed to freeze, but still completed the job.
After some testing, I think IrfanView 64-bit might be better. It saves text only pages as 256 colours. If the PDF is mostly text, then saving as PNG, not JPG, will give much better results. A few pages with photos could be opened and converted to JPG to reduce file size.

Before you post ... fill in your OS and IV version in your profile.
Irfan Paint • Irfan View Help • IrfanPaint Help • Riot.dll • More Skins • FastStone Capture • Uploads
Bhikkhu Pesala, thanks so much.
