I have this situation:
- images have an EXIF orientation flag bottom right.
- I resize the images with the batch resize option
- The resized images are now displayed upside down
-- In Windows Explorer
-- In the IrfanView Thumbnail view
-- If you open them with IrfanView
- If I look at the Exif orientation flag of the resized image, it is still set to bottom right
So it looks like that the batch operation saves a rotated image without resetting the Exif orientation flag
--
Reproduce
- IrfanView Properties » JPG/PCD/GIF: enable 'auto rotate images according to exif'
- Original rotated image attached
- Use batch conversion » advanced settings (see attached screenshot)
--
OS: Windows 10
IrfanView: 4.52, 32bit
Hardware: MS Surface Pro
