Solved Batch convert images to add "3D Button" effect

I have about 8,000 album cover images -- one to a folder -- to which I'd like to add a 3px "button" effect: open image > apply effect > replace original image. Is this possible with IrfanView or with its commandline? If so, any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

See i_options.txt in the IrfanView installation folder for information about commandline instructions.

    Example for /effect=(effect-nr,param1,param2):

The 3D Button is effect 19 so the command would be

    /effect=(19,3,0)

I don't know how you get it to overwrite existing files in multiple folders. Maybe one would use a file list for input? Others may be more familiar with command line batch scripts than I am.
