Creating a picture that uses CGA palette?

I tried this just for the heck of it, to see what I could theoretically done back in the eighties. I changed the picture first to a 4 color grayscale with dithering and applied a CGA palette that I had downloaded from the net. The problem is, the used colors don't look like the palette. How can I get a picture with the standard CGA palette?

*I just saw the post about adding the version as a signature; 4.53 (Win7 64bit)

Get pictures with desired palette (download from some site about old games or make them in DosBox) and export it. CGA have 4 standart palettes if i recall correctly.
