Thread: Ability to zoom to cursor

  1. #1

Default Ability to zoom to cursor

Don't know if this has been requested before but is it possible to implement an option to allow zooming into the mouse cursor when browsing, preferably in full screen mode but also when browsing in a window. So basically when you zoom in, instead of it zooming to the center of the photo, it zooms to where ever the mouse is at.

Holding down the CTRL-key and using the mousewheel does exactly that in both window and fullscreen mode.

Wow, didn't know there were other hotkeys for zooming besides "+" & "-". Yep, totally missed that one.

It is a feature that is new to IrfanView 4.53.

Show mouse zoom magnifier: CTRL+SHIFT + Mouse-move in the image (mouse wheel zooms within magnifier area, click inside closes it)
