    Requested Batch adding borders

Alright, so I can do the following:

    1) Open a .png image.
    2) Press Ctrl+D and choose the Gray gradient (border-1 size = 3 or 6, border-1 and -4 color = black).
    3) Press S to save as.

This process creates precisely the border I am looking for. The thing is I want to do this for >1400 images. From what I understand, there is currently no way to have IrfanView batch perform this process.

So I am requesting that a batch border option be added (perhaps in the "Set for all images:" menu under "Advanced" for Batch conversion settings)

Currently, I think the best that you can do is run multiple batch jobs on the 1400 images, adding a few pixels of the desired colour in each run. A smooth gradient would require a lot of batch jobs.

Makes sense, since I can batch canvas. But I lack the technically knowledge to reproduce such a border without an amount of trial, error, and confusion that makes me feel like it would be better to just off-hand repeat the Ctrl+D process while watching a movie or something.

      Thanks for the tip though.
