iPhoneSE (2020) IOS 13.6 Saves HEIC Format Photos - Convert to JPEG

I have a new iPhoneSE (2020) running IOS 13.6. It saves highly compressed HEIC images so more (but blurry) photos.

a) I'd prefer to save JPG's like I did on my iPhone5

b) Failing that being a possibility, is there a way to convert the HEIC images to JPG's? A few images seem to get saved as JPG's and then the camera shifts to HEIC.

I have no Apple computer devices other than the phone.

This is not a question about IrfanView. Ask on the iPhone forums.

Fix your camera to save as JPG, otherwise you're just wasting time and losing quality by converting them in IrfanView.
