    Solved Redefine Key

    Good evening

    I use the Irfanview Version 4.56 32 - bits

    My question is this:

I use the Ctrl+Y and Ctrl+S key set a lot, after selecting the part of the image I want with the mouse to be able to save.

Is there any possibility to redefine those key sets into one?

Thank you very much in advance for your help

    Try Crtl+Shift+B (Save selection as...)
    My system: IrfanView 4.62 64bit, Windows 10 22H2, Intel Core i5-3570, 16GB RAM, NVidia GTX 1050Ti 4GB

I appreciate your idea, but what I wanted was to simplify the work in terms of typing.

In order to avoid having to let go of the mouse of the right hand, and with the left hand confirm the cut of the desired area and the recording in the same directory, I redefined:

The "Ctrl + Y" on the "<" sign key

The "Ctrl + S" in the "Z" key

The idea was to redefine the two movements into one, like a "macro".
Maybe it's not possible, that's why I raised the question

Anyway, thanks again for your answer

Crtl+Shift+B should do the same thing as Ctrl+Y and Ctrl+S
So you may redefine that shortcut to a single key.

In fact, you are absolutely right.

When things are in front of your eyes...

          Thank you very much.
