In older version there was a funny, original icon for files opened by IrfanView. Now they are different. Is there a way to change manualy what version of icon I wish to see?

In older version there was a funny, original icon for files opened by IrfanView. Now they are different. Is there a way to change manualy what version of icon I wish to see?

You have to run IrfanView as Administrator once. In the file types settings, you have to check the "Try to change associations in system registry". Then you can set the icons using the Icons button.

I think we did not understand each other
Ther are NEW irfanview icon...but I don't like it, I want the old one.
Check attached picture.
The new one are with this 'jpg' caption and I want the old one with this big "cat".

I've returned to older version of irfanview but the new irfanview did a mess :/ As you can see, now I have both type of icons :/
As I said, in the settings you can change the icons.
