Checkmarks no longer appear when sorting. They might be gray on a background of gray. Irfanview issue or Windows?

The tick marks show up OK in IrfanView, but not in Thumbnails so I suspect the bug is in the IrfanView thumbnail browser.
Please send a bug report to Irfan Skiljan (Help, About IrfanView for his address) and let us know what he says.

I cannot confirm the problem. It seems that the problem is solved with an updated version of IrfanView 4.56.
Please try https://www.irfanview.info/test/iview32_test.zip or https://www.irfanview.info/test/iview64_test.zip. These are the latest versions available.

I installed the 64_test version mentioned above on top of my 4.56 and it solved the problem. I guess I don't need to e-mail Irfan Skiljan.
