Hi. I'm not only new to digital photography, but also new to IV. It appears to be a great program, and have played around with it quite a bit so far to become pretty familiar with it.
My problem is that I have about 600 images that I took with my Panasonic FinePix S7000 some time ago, and they are generally sizes like 2848x2136, 2016x1512 or 2816x2112 and have file sizes ranging from 1MB to 3MB, and I'd really like to have them printed at snapfish or one of the other online sites.
What I think needs to be done is to "virtually" grab the left-top and bring it towards the right-bottom without losing any image quality. Does that make sense? :-)
Is that possible to do or the correct way to do it?
Also, how does one do the math to convert numbers like 2848x2136 to "aspect ratios" that exist like 4x3, 4x6, and 16x9? Are those the correct terms?
Thanks so much!
Best regards,
Dave
