    Default No new version?

    Hello,

I have been using IrfanView for 3 years and it's a great piece of software. But I've noticed that after 4.10, no new version has come up.

Is the program still in development?

    I suppose it's still developing.
If it isn't, well, I would be at peace with the software..

I haven't gotten many new gray hairs since 4.10, I expect to live to see the next one

Default new version is very soon

I confirm that the program is stil under developement and Irfan promises very nice changes.

Irfan told me two weeks ago that he is waiting for ImPDF plugin update and he is updating the documentation... so... a new version will be released very soon.
My plugin for web image optimization (RIOT) will be included in the new version.

Am I a pessimist? I have a feeling that the new version is going to have a whole load of different bugs, and people will still be moaning.

    Hi Bhikkhu,

I hope bugs reported in this forum will be fixed. Otherwise the Bugreports and Project IrfanView sections would loose most of their interest. My preference is that bugs are fixed in a first place and new features added afterwards.
Anyway, I am waiting the new version with much enthusiasm.

It's indeed hope is all we get, because it lacks here of communication about bugs and requests before a next ver.
    It's just a matter of what's coming up ?
