Working my way slowly down the list of new features. Thank you Irfan. You clearly do read what people ask for on this forum.

Default Why am not getting new release mail notifications?

I had not got the email notifications of release of last two versions 4.0 and 4.1, nor did I get the notification for 4.2. I am duly registered to receive notification.

Of course, it was released as recently as 2008-07-16 and sky has not fallen if I had not received that, but I love it so much that I want to live with its latest offering.

Please check into why your notifications are not working, I refuse to believe that you have singled me out for not informing, nor do i believe that your low volume mail id would be in any spam filter.

And thanks for the new release, new looks, bigger icons, paint dialog updated and improved. That is what I have noticed so far.

    thanks.

    Hi vsrawat,

Once you register to the forum, you are enabled to post messages. It doesn't mean you automatically receive announcements of new releases of the program.
If you post a message in a thread, you receive other answers in the same thread, but this is your first post in this forum.

    Hi Laurent,

I have registered and posted at previous forum also. I remember that I had subscribed somewhere to receive the update notifications, as the same issue was raised when I had not got notifications of previous releases.

anyway. tell me where can I register to receive new release notifications. I will go and register there.

    Hi vsrawat,

Probably you registered in the old forum. I am not aware of a place in this new forum to register for announcement of a new release.
But I admit it would be a good idea.
