I love(d) Irfanview, but needed a sort of electronic slide sorting facility for my images. My alternative: Breeze Browser. Good for this purpose, but no alternative to IV in general.

Now with IV 4.2 Irfan made it: Drag&Drop of thumbnails and (most important) Rename facility with sequence numbering, so that the new alpha-numerical sorting gives the sequence intended by the artist.

I uninstalled breeze Browser, now IV "does it all" ! THANKS.
