    Default E-mail Application

When I try to open some attachments to e-mails, I get the notice that there is ... "no program associated' with it. It suggests to ... "create an association in the set associations in the control panel." There is no "Set Associations" in the control panel and nothing I have been able to try will open the attachment.

I have Vista Home Premium, 64 bit, on an HP pavilion with 4GB RAM.

    Any help? Thanks!

    Yes there is.

In Control Panel, Tools, Folder Options, File Types.

However, easier is to save the attachment to a convenient folder, right-click on it and select Open With, then Choose program, Always use this programs to open files of this type.
