    Default An Adobe 8BF plug-in doesn't work

The plug-in "Photoshop MSU Image Restoration" ( http://www.compression.ru/video/imag.../index_en.html ) always say "Please, specify a mask of the damaged region!"

    I have tried it also!
    Without success!
It could be possible that the plugin is not compatible with IrfanView!

It is a plug-in for Photoshop, Irfanview support photoshop plug-ins; so it is Irfanview that should be compatible with the plug-in not the contrary.

    Or I'm wrong?

    Please read the informations carefully!

"Doesn't verify" could mean that it does not function!
Therefore differences concerning the compatibility of Adobe Photoshop could have also effects on IrfanView!

But you can ask also the authors of this plugin or search in their forum!

It might also expect some features that photoshop has and IV doesn't, like a masking layer.

You could try PhotoWipe, a stand-alone retoucher.
    Its: Belongs to "It"
It's: Shortened form of "It is"
    ---------------------
    Lose: Fail to keep
    Loose: Not tight

    ---------------------
    Plurals do not require apostrophes

There is a possibility that IV will support it in the future?

    @matera: Thanks

It would be much more better first to ask the authors of this "Photoshop MSU Image Restoration" plugin!
