    It is exactly as I thought. You have "Browse with IrfanView" somehow set as the default action for drives, so it is bold and at the top of the list. I am not sure how this has happened, if you say you did not change it. For me, Open remains default:



    Unfortunately, there is no way to change this in Folder Options, since many items are protected and inaccessible. But, try going to Start»Run (+R), paste this, and click OK:

    regsvr32 /i shell32

    Check and see if your context menu is restored to proper operation.
