Windows 7 - File Association

Never had Vista, so don't know how it was, but I just installed Windows 7 and ... however much I try, I am just not able to set Irfan View as my default image viewer. I mean, when I do it from the program itself.

Is this a problem with W7 or IV?

Make sure you are running as administrator when setting associations in Windows versions after XP. Notice the reminder in the dialog about Vista.
