Full screen capture fails with Greatstella

Greatstella has a fullscreen mode, started up with F2. When I attempt to capture the full-screen with Irfanview, it captures the desktop just as if I were not in full-screen mode.

I have Irfanview capture set to "Full desktop area -- all monitors", and what-to do-with-captured-image set to "Show Captured image in main window".

The hotkey for capture is the default Ctrl-F11. It does capture, but not the full screen. Any ideas how to make it capture the full screen? There is a free demo version of greatstella here: http://www.software3d.com/Stella.php#great (pull down to see the download for it), that will probably allow you to test this.

    All suggestions/replies appreciated.

Hummm... I just downloaded, installed, and ran the GreatStella demo (whee, fun!). IrfanView captured the fullscreen image with the same settings you used. Not much help, eh?

Thanks matera! For trying. Seems like we have same operating system, same version of Irfanview, same settings, but different results. Very strange. Funny thing is I vaguely remember that it worked OK with an earlier version of Irfanview, but memory is not for sure. In any case, very odd. I wonder what could explain it? Or how I could get a work-around?

Could be your video card, display settings? I'm going on vaguest intuition.

Thanks for pointing me to the new toy.
