Hi,
I cropped some jpg's from my digital camera to make them 16:9-size so they will fill a HDTV screen. (IrfanView 4.10 on HP laptop with Vista)
A friend has a fairly new Samsung HDTV, which has a USB port.
I put some jpg's on a USB RAM disk and plugged it into the TV to see how they would look.
The jpg's that I did not run through IrfanView displayed just fine, but for every jpg that was saved by IrfanView, the TV displayed a message that it could not recognize the file.
Anybody know why this would be? My impression is that IrfanView puts something in the file that the TV doesn't like.
Thanks in advance!
Mark
