Open with Acrobat Reader and check Document Properties -> Fonts.
And what does that mean in this context: Does it mean that exotic fonts (and/or not on the computer existing fonts) are not always supported?
How to choose: Embed a font or not?
I'm not using Ghostscript, so I do not now. The only thing I know is, that the PDF specification does not force you to embed all fonts into the PDF.
