I don't see the option for opening .icns files under IrfanView - I guess the .ics format (Image Cytometry Standard) isn't quite the same as the Apple .icns format. However, you easily convert opened image files to the PNG format.

thank you, i know you can save in png, its the opening .icns that is a problem, it would be actually really useful to use the batch conversion tool from .icns to .png, the only free tool that does so is for linux :/
