    IPTC/comments/etc

    Hey,

    need your help.

    I am pretty new to this, so sorry if somebody already answered this under the correct denomination..

    I download public domain, wikimedia commons etc. images from the web. I want to attribute them in the IPTC (?) so that I know in the future where I found the image and what the copyright is, what the link is etc...

    but many files only show some info and no IPTC, EXIF (?) and no way for me to add info...

    why is that and what can I do

    i use Vista Ultimate...

      thank you

      but I still cannot find informnation what to do if there is no exif, iptc file at all

      how do I create one?

        Just type the information you want to add and click on Write. This is only available for JPG images.

          If there is no EXIF data, you can't add some.

          IPTC information could be added or changed to JPEG and TIFF, but you need at least the iv_misc.zip plugins, better download and install all the plugins.
