How to make a movie from single images

    Dear forum members,

I have a bunch of images (same format, .jpg, numbered, e.g. "image_0001", "image_0002"...) in a folder. (How) can I use IrfanView to combine the individual images into a movie?

    Thank you!

    Regards,

As far as I know you can't.

But there is a freeware I use that can be found here: http://www.ndrw.co.uk

    Hope that helps.

When the successive photo's are many, and represent subsequent stages of the same not too fast "event" (a sunset, a ship sailing from the harbour), I sometimes put them in a slideshow, with the option "Slide advancement - automatic" set to a very short period (three to five photo's every second). The result varies between comic, dramatic, or no good.

JPGAvi is not freeware. It has a 30 days restriction.

Sam_Zen, there is a freeware on the site that I linked. It is called JPGVideo. - Sorry I hadn't been more specific.

If you do not have too many images, you could create an Animated GIF - try the freeware JASC Animation Shop.
            Download IrfanView Help Manual from:
            IrfanView Website - Here
            Sam_Zen's Website - Here
