Wrong colors when showing / converting tiff files

    Hi

I wanted to convert some 50-80 mb tiff files to jpg. But irfanview displays extrem red (pink) and green (neon) colors when I open the pictures. The "wrong " colors stay when saved to jpg (or any other format). Does anyone know why irfanview does that and how to not have it happen?

e.g. Microsoft Office Picture Viewer displays the colors correct and downsizes with the correct colors, but you can't set individual sizes of the pictures.

Left is the pic with irfanview, right the correct colors.

Have a look at Options, Properties, Viewing, and see if Colour Management has anything to do with it. Are the originals CYMK or RGB?

So what happens if you enable colour management?

A search for CYMK found this thread about conversion the other way.
