    This is suprising, but good news indeed, though the main problem remains, will all browsers support it? I use Opera, but if I want to use WebP on my web sites, it needs to be supported by FireFox and Internet Explorer.

    If would be cool if plugin programmers would include lossless compression too. WebP seems promising. Too bad it's very little widespreaded.
