Can't get IrfanView to open PDF's

I keep getting the decode error when I try and open a PDF. I have reloaded the "POSTSCRIPT.DLL" plug in multiple times and it still doesn't work.

I have a new computer; Windows 7 - 64-bitt. I've used Irfan view for years and never had any problems. I tried loading it back onto my old computer Windows XP, 32 bit and can't get it to work there either......what am I doing incorrectly?
