Forwarded Bug: Automatic Window Resize on Win7

The Irfanview window resizes itself on opening a new image.
But if the image width is smaller then the width of the toolbar,
Irfanview will only resize till the end of the toolbar, in Win7
the toolbar width is calculated a little bit too small, so the
icon on the most right side gets cut of:

    Hi phew,

    That's not a bug!

The program makes only what you have selected in the options!
The Irfanview window doesn't resizes itself on opening a new image, if you have selected the right option (in program menu: \View\Display options (window mode)\)! What are your settings there?

      Hi,

      @phew: confirmed.

@Frank: open a 10x10 pixel image in IrfanView and the rightmost icon is cropped a little bit. I'll check it on other systems.

      Regards
      Nils

            Hi Nils,

it's the same with IrfanPaint -> if you are using the aero theme in Windows7 - not the classic one.

I tried to compile IrfanPaint on my dev- Windows, but I can't get it run so far

What in detail is "the same" with IrfanPaint? My IrfanPaint runs just fine in my Win7 Installation.

                Hi,

the window position calculation is not the same when you use the classic theme in Windows 7:

Name:	irfanpaint.png
Views:	1
Size:	5.1 KB
ID:	80556

I guess the working area for a windows form is not the same so the irfanpaint dialog is in the IrfanView window instead of next to it!

My Paint window isn't even snapping to the IrfanView window, it stays on the position where I moved it last.
So it is sometimes on the other edge of the screen when I open a smaller image.

@phew: move it close to the IrfanView main window and it will snap to it like a magnet.
