    Tiny Thumbnail on JPG Image

I have a photo which was sent to me by email. I had it converted to jpg for an advertisement as the website suggested. However, the thumbnail picture on the advert is tiny. I have tried to enlarge it with Irfanview but the photo stays the same size. What am I doing wrong?

You have probably set an option to Fit the image to either Window or Desktop size, so as you resize the actual image the zoom changes to keep it fitted to the same outline.
Check under View menu, Display options (window mode). If you have a very small picture then select the first option "Fit window to image (1:1)..." Then you will see the size changing and you will also see how the picture quality reduces as you enlarge too.

Is the thumbnail image too small as displayed on a website? If that is the case, then the size is set in the HTML code, and no matter what actual size image is used it will be the same.
      Its: Belongs to "It"
It's: Shortened form of "It is"
      ---------------------
      Lose: Fail to keep
      Loose: Not tight

      ---------------------
