    Batch Printing many files

    Hi,

    Suppose I have a folder which contains say, 50 .tif files. eg, 1.tif, 2.tif, 3.tif.... 50.tif

I know I can, from a batch point of view, loop through each of these and print them as 50 seperate spooled print jobs.

However, is there a way I can print all 50 as one print job?

    Thanks
    Phil

    Hi Phil,

why do you need one print job?
The only way you may do it is IMHO to create a multi page TIF or PDF and print this file. But the file size is limited to 2GB so if you have large pictures it might be or problem creating such a file.

    Regards
    Nils

      Hi Nils,

      thanks for the response.

I'm trying multipage tifs which seems to work fine for my needs and it's good to know that the filesize limit is 2gb.

Another quick question: Can I use irFranView to create a PDF?

      Thanks
      Phil

        Hi Phil,

yes, you can create a multipage document using "Options / Multipage image / Create Multipage PDF", but at least have you need the ImPDF plugin installed, which you can find on the IrfanView homepage.

        Regards
        Nils
