    Requested GPS EXIF data geolocation

When GPS information is detected in EXIF data, an otherwise grayed out voice in the menu and optional icon in the toolbar would be activated, when clicked, it would open a box showing a world map with a small dot showing the coordinates, and below the map there could be small buttons to view such coordinates using applications and websites like:

    - Google Earth
    - NASA World Wind
    - Google Maps
    - Yahoo Maps
    - Microsoft Live Maps
    - MapQuest
    - Geody

An old but indeed also a nice idea!
It could be interesting to have in a far future the ability and a switch for such an online/offline mode.

      grayed out voice

What is a "grayed out voice" ?

Or did you mean a "grayed out choice" ?
I wish to die peacefully in my sleep, like my grandfather.
Not like those passengers, in his car, when he drove over that cliff.

You have this feature already if you open the Exif data dialog by pressing E. The Show in Geohack button displays location on a world map and offers many different websites to show precise location or the Show in Google Earth button takes you straight to the location in GE.

Attached is an image with Georef to try out if you do not have one.

          Cool, I didn't know that!
(Now I've test it with your picture! It works!)

And you're right, I don't have such images because my cameras don't support this feature!
But nevertheless a simple offline modus without an external software would be nice!
