Single display in Font view?

When IV displays a TTF file's sample text it shows it at default size and then again larger... In older versions (going back a while I know) it used to only show the first of these. Is there a way to have it return to that behaviour? I use a fairly lengthy sample string to test many characters in any font I display (often running to 5 or 6 lines), and the second instance of the sample tends to overlay several lines -- and those lines in the larger sample are off the bottom of the screen which is not scrollable. !_!

There no way to change it AFAIK.

If you want to view fonts, use a font viewer — AMP Font Viewer is excellent for a free viewer.

If you're seriously into font collecting, take a look at MainType

I use AMP, but it's not portable, and all I want is a way to get back functionality that was already there ☹
