Solved Rotation problem after convertion from Canon CR2 to JPEG

    hi

i got a canon 7d. when i take a picture in raw quality, holding the camera vertical, i can look at it with irfanview correct.

when i convert it to jpeg and reduce the size, i can view the result correct with irfanview. (IMG_9549_reduced.jpg)

but when i save the original just with the default settings, the converted picture is not shown correct. the arrow goes to the left (IMG_9549_not_reduced.jpg)

other viewer (eg paint or windows photo preview) show them correct.

thanks for your help. i can also upload the orignial raw picture, but it is 25mb.

    joe
