Solved next/ previous buttons are not activated in iv

I have several images in the folder that I am viewing in iv.

but I find that Next/ Previous image arrow buttons are not activated in iv.

It is causing problem. What have I done wrong.

Please advise how to correct it?

You may have pasted an image from the clipboard, or possibly you have disabled the option in Properties, Browsing/Editing, to browse all files in a directory.

Yes, that browsing/ editing option was unchecked. I was tweaking only in extensions options, thinking that it would enable viewing those files.
