Image > Information does not show link to IPTC. How do I enter IPTC data?

I am new to IrfanView and I am having a hard time finding out how to do what I need.
I just downloaded version 4.58 and the current version of plugins and installed it from the website today.
I scanned a photo in TIF format, next I want to add a Caption as IPTC data.
I go to Image > Information, but it does not show link to IPTC and there is no link to IPTC. The only button is "OK"
How do I enter IPTC data?

Saving metadata is supported only in JPEG files.
