Want to loop AVI files for duration of slide show interval

I am trying to create a .scr file that includes a mixture of jpg and avi files. I can get the AVIs to play once but cannot get them to loop until the sreen saver interval expires and it moves on to the next file. I am running Windows XP SP3. I have checked the loop selection on the fullscreen-options/video-sound page but that does not seem to work. I am running IrfanView 4.28 with all 4.28 plugins installed. I tried the same thing using gif's instead of avi's but had the same problem.

Can anyone tell me where I am going wrong??

If you are using the internal player, check Loop in Options > Properties/Settings. If using an external player check for a loop option in that.
