New File type request

Hi,
Irfanview can read IFF files which belonged to the defunct Amiga computers, but alas it cannot read that platform's xx.anim files. I would really like it if this could be incorporated, as I have a lot of them hiding on a harddisk partion from the past hoping that some program will come around to read them again.

Hi Wal,

I don't know if Irfan will ever support this video format, but "Yves Dubois" developed a tool called "WinMP 2.0".
This still runs on Windows 7 x64 but for the setup directory you should use the DOS 8.3 notification for the program files folder or just install it to C:\WinMP... ;-)
It does not play all animations but a lot of the Eric Schwartz demos... ;-)

You should find it with a good search engine. ;-)
