...if you resize the window. In 4.35 the image would smooth out if you clicked the scrollbar that appears when you make the window smaller. In 4.38 the images just stay jagged. I tried pretty much every setting relating to this, but there is no fix. 4.35's behavior is less annoying but I would still consider it a bug since it's basically the same issue.
