Half Undo

If I do a Sharpen (Shift+S) on a 8 BPP file, the color depth is automatically set to 24 BPP.
If I then Undo the sharpen result, the bitmap still stays in the 24 BPP status.
The same with Auto adjust colors (Shift+U) and Red eye reduction (Shift+Y).

Confirmed. Also with some (if not all) "Effects".

I suspected indeed other effects acting the same.

Project? I guess so, because this seems a quite cleancut situation of 'malfunction'.
But let's wait for one another confirmation.
