v4.20 TIF & IPTC not working/broken

Hi guys,

seems that the IPTC plugin of IPTC has some problems:
- you can't add IPTC-information to a tif File that contains no IPTC-Metadata
- it doesn't show any IPTC-information when the file actually contains some (PS CS3 added!)
- if you try to add IPTC-information to such a file, the result that IV writes is spoilt and not longer readable (by any program!)
- bug appears, regardless of internal tif-format (LZW, ZIP, JPG compression...)

For my part: have to look for an other viewer that works fine with TIF and IPTC...

My data:
1. WinXP SP3, IV 4.20
2. Intel Core 2 Duo, E4500@2,2GHz, 2GB RAM

IrfanView will view the IPTC info of a TIF file which is added with PS CS3! But see the Caption-tab in the IPTC information:
Note: TIF writing is not yet possible.
So it is not a bug and indeed, the IPTC information is deleted when saving a TIF file.

- the IPTC information is not shown
- No statement of this kind

I'll do a new clean installation of IV 4.20... more later
