Running the irfanview plugins executable from my Synology diskstation will result in a hang of the install process (no dialogue showing). After copying the file to the local disk it installed without any problem.

I don't think the installer program was designed for running over network, so I don't really consider it an 'error' for this not to work.Originally posted by jvdwaa View Post
It would of course be better to make it work this way too, so I'm with you on that, but doing so should rather be considered an optional improvement than a necessary bugfix.
