Reported current directory problem

Sorry my english.

Looking at the image in the directory with the extension to the current directory is displayed incorrectly.

Perhaps that is the current directory to the parent directory.

My environment is
OS : Windows XP SP3
Ifranview Viersion : 4.2x (4.20 and 4.25)
H/W : Intel CPU, Nvidia Geforce 8600GT

I would guess that IrfanView does not like the character used in place of the backslash (\) in the directory path.
Is that strikeout W symbol the way a \ is always shown in your language version?

Yes, the character is \ that look like W.
It is currency character in south korea.

As attached image,

- double click the first image of the directory with 42 images
- the number of the parent directory's images is displayed
- click "next file in direcory" button in toolbar
- first image of the parent direcory is displayed

I think that the cause is due to the extension in the directory's name.

I checked using a full stop (.) in an English directory name and there is no problem.
