Irfanview 4.25 & 4.27 Slideshow crash on Windows 7

Irfanview 4.25 & 4.27 crash without any error message, right after pressing W -> "Play slideshow" button.
Slideshow can be played only once after fresh install, on second attempt it crashes.

No errors in Windows application or system logs either.
Irfanview 4.10 does not have this problem.

After reading above I uninstalled 4.27 and reinstalled 4.10. 4.10 crashed when starting slideshow also. I installed 4.28. 4.28 crashed when starting slideshow also. Using Windows 7.
