Reported Shift-G (color correction) function produces no dialog box

Problem: Shift-G (color correction) function produces no dialog box, must hit ESC to exit program. Some users reported having to restart their computer.

    Issue: dialog window is off-screen.

FIX: use window commands to bring it back

    1. Shift-G

    2. Alt+spacebar to activate the title bar menu

    3. Type M for Move (DON'T click with mouse... type the letter 'M')

    4. Two approaches:

    a. Your cursor is sitting on the missing window...left-click mouse and drag it.

    b. Hold down different arrow keys to scoot it.

WHICH DIRECTION do you move it? Beats me... depends on where it' is. Mine was way to the right.

    5. Once you get it back into the Irfanview window, it won't get lost again . . . until whatever made it go away LAST time happens again.

I have no idea what cause my dialog box to depart. However, I have TWO 24" monitors, and using Irfanview with that function on one side, then opening program later on other side might confuse dialog box coordinates. No other function in Irfanview has done this, so I suspect the part of the code that says 'always put this window within the visible Irfanview window' is missing or commented out.

Several others have reported this problem, here's a link to one of them:

    My recipe for 4.
    a. Move the mouse around to find the cursor (it will appear as a 4 headed arrow)
    b. Press any of the keyboard arrow keys. The cursor changes to a normal pointer.
    c. Start moving the mouse again. The dialog box appears attached to the cursor. When you have moved it to the required position left click to set down the dialog.
